By creating an account or using this app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What This App Does
This app helps you track home maintenance for your properties and equipment. It uses AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to identify equipment from photos and research manufacturer-recommended maintenance schedules, typical costs, warranty terms, and safety recalls, and to generate reminders based on that research.
AI-Generated Content Is an Estimate, Not a Guarantee
Maintenance schedules, cost estimates, warranty status, DIY-vs-professional recommendations, recall information, instructional videos, and step-by-step instructions in this app are generated by AI research and are provided for informational purposes only. We do our best to ground this in real, current sources, but it can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always verify manufacturer guidance directly with the manufacturer, and consult a licensed professional before undertaking any repair or maintenance task, especially anything involving electrical, gas, structural, or roof-access work. Where the app recommends hiring a professional (for example, anything requiring roof access), that reflects a safety policy we apply regardless of what a manufacturer or common practice might otherwise suggest. It is not a substitute for your own judgment about your own safety and abilities.

Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping it up to date.
Subscriptions & Payment
Paid subscriptions, where offered, are billed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID and auto-renew unless canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies, not by us directly.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos and information you add to the app. By using the app, you allow us to process that content (including sending photos and equipment details to Anthropic's Claude AI) solely to provide the app's features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
Don't use this app for anything illegal, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it in a way that could harm other users or our infrastructure.
Third-Party Services
The app relies on third-party services to function, including Anthropic (Claude AI), Expo (push notifications), and Apple/RevenueCat (subscription payments). Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings within the app. This is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its AI-generated research will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any property damage, personal injury, lost data, or other damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its AI-generated maintenance guidance, including any task you or a professional you hire performs based on information from the app.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of California.
